Born in Sarajevo (1987), Menorca (1992) and Barcelona (2005)
Is a creative director and visual artist working across filmmaking, photography, books and objects. His projects explore identity, symbolism and collective memory, often starting with familiar images or everyday gestures.
Flags become the subject of a bird study, people looking at their phones resemble figures at prayer, and a torn book tells the story of a fragmented country. Through these shifts in context, he explores how images acquire meaning and how personal experiences connect with wider social and political histories.
His approach combines visual research with an interest in metaphor, humour and ambiguity. Irony and melancholy often sit alongside each other, leaving room for viewers to bring their own associations.
He is currently Creative Director at This is Barcelona alongside his work in creative direction and teaching, he develops personal projects over several years, returning to ideas as they take shape.
